A Midwesterner by birth that has spent the last 20+ years in middle Tennessee, I am a liberal floating in a sea of southern conservatives. Spouting daily “rants” and “raves” to have a voice in the world while (hopefully) bringing humor to readers is my mission. Begun in March 2011, DiatribesAndOvations is an exercise in self-therapy designed to force me to think of something nice to say about someone or something every other day … a rants and raves opinion blog. In this crazy world, that’s not always an easy task.
As part of my ongoing self-therapy, I hope you’ll comment on what you read and participate in polls and discussions.
