Ovation: Tom Brady Has A Moat.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to live in a castle. An old stone home that has stood the test of time, with cold hard floors, high wooden ceilings, extravagant gardens and a moat. Everyone dreams of what they would do with Powerball winnings but I’m certain I would buy a castle.
NFL quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen live in a home much like a castle. Photos of the interior of their $20 million Los Angeles area home have recently surfaced and, as you can see, the mansion appears as extravagant as one might expect.
The home, whose most notable feature remains the moat that dominated headlines when fans caught wind of the house being built earlier this year, rests on a 22,000-square-foot estate that also includes a lagoon-style swimming pool, a two-story foyer, a library and a wine cellar.
It’s not a “real” castle … there’s no history in the house … no stories to tell … but it is quite beautiful. They say that every man’s home is his castle, but I’d prefer something a little more medieval.
Some guys only have to play football to get one.
Would you rather live in Brady’s home or a medieval castle?
